Where can I buy tickets?

Presale tickets are available online at https://portshorts.floktu.com  Save some money and go in the draw for some fabulous Lucky Door Prizes on the night. Tickets are available on the night at the night but will be more expensive. 

Do I need to bring my printed tickets to Port Shorts?

You may print out your tickets or just bring your mobile device with your electronic ticket and we will scan at the gate.

I purchased online but I didn’t receive a ticket confirmation?

Please send an email to info@portshorts.com and we will resend your confirmation.



What times does Port Shorts Start?

Friday the 25th October – Gates Open 5:00pm – Primary School Challenge, Young Filmmakers Award, Music Video Award
Saturday 26th October – gates Open 4:30pm – Drone Award, Local Filmakers Award, Open Award

Is Port Shorts Film Festival suitable for children?

Port Shorts Film Festival on Friday the 25th October will show the Primary School Challenge, The Young Filmmaker Awards  & The Music Video Awards.  Saturday 26th October is the Drone Awards, Local Awards & the Open Filmmaker Awards.  Port Shorts advises that some films may also not be suitable for children without parental supervision.

Can I BYO alcohol to Port Shorts?

No. Port Shorts is a licensed event and BYO drinks are not allowed. Drinks may be purchased at the event.

What food is on offer at Port Shorts?

There will be a number of food stalls from Paella to Spit Roast, Crepes and more at the Friday and Saturday events.

Is drinking water available at Port Shorts?

Yes, free drinking water is available via our DSC hydrostation station. Please bring your own drinking vessel. No Glass please.

Can I bring in chairs to Port Shorts?

Please bring a rug to enjoy Port Shorts.  If you do wish or need a chair, Port Shorts requests low back chairs or bean bags and that these are positioned at the back of the park to not interfere with viewing lines to the screen.  

Can I bring my dog to Port Shorts?

We are huge dog lovers too – but on this occasion unfortunately no pets are allowed to Port Shorts. Guide dogs are welcome.

Where can I see what films are screening at Port Shorts?

Short listed films and the Port Shorts program can be downloaded from our website at www.portshorts.com

Can I volunteer at the Port Shorts event?

Port Shorts loves our Vollies.  If you’re interested please contact Nicole – Nicole@portshorts.com

Can I bring my own food and drink into Port Shorts?

We will have a range of yummy food stalls offering food to the public and free drinking water.  The event is no BYO with alcoholic drinks for sale for those aged over 18.

Can I get a refund on my tickets?

Sorry – Refunds will not be issued for tickets. In the unlikely event of bad weather, we will notify you of an alternate venue or date.
