| Title: The Next Metamorphosis |
Port
Shorts 2005 Finalist Films |
The Next Metamorphosis is a strange and
funny short shot on super 8. This film is loosely based on the Franz
Kafka novel, Metamorphosis, and is a story of a man waking up with
an eyeball for a head.
Starring Jason Decker and shot in the desert town of Tucson, Arizona
USA, The Next Metamorphosis also features the song Canyonero
from Mexican-American punk rock band Shark Pants. Their approach to
blues punk with a distinct singing style from the streets of Nogales
adds to the affliction of living with an eyeball for a head. |
