| The Next Metamorphosis is a strange and
funny short shot on super 8. This film is loosely based on the Franz
Kafka novel, Metamorphosis, and is a story of a man waking up with
an eyeball for a head. Starring Jason Decker and shot in the desert town of Tucson, Arizona USA, The Next Metamorphosis also features the song “Canyonero” from Mexican-American punk rock band Shark Pants. Their approach to blues punk with a distinct singing style from the streets of Nogales adds to the affliction of living with an eyeball for a head. |

David Pike has been a unique storyteller publishing
his own stories and punk rock political rants since he was 16. He
is a music columnist for a San Francisco magazine, Panache, and
is editor of his own small publication, Crimewave Magazine in Tucson,
Arizona. Over the past few years he has broke into filmmaking with
