Most memorable moment of previous Port Douglas
Port Shorts Film Festivals...
(It was the year we played out of FCP and everything went wrong - but I don't think I'll say that here.)
Chocolate or lollies?

Last thing you bought off ebay...
Canon 50mm 1.4 lens. I LOVE it.

"This too Shall Pass." - Yogic philosophy that everything is impermanent and not to become too attached to any one emotional state - it helps when times are hard, and reminds me to appreciate the now when times are good

If you had 3 wishes what would they be?
To always be learning and growing positively, to be able to continue to travel and work, and to have someone to sort out my bookwork. I need a PA.
Favourite album of all time...
Hard question! "Cold Fact" by Sixto Rodriguez is up there. (Although after my sisters and I saved our pocket money to buy the cassette "1982 Up In Lights" we did listen to that obsessively).
YouTube - 1982 Up In Lights record [1982]
Something you couldn't live without...
My friends
Favourite website...
Google. I love the internet. You can find out anything.
What would you do with $63.50?
Tuna tataki and palm heart Dave has on the lunch menu at the Inlet, and a good bottle of white.
If you were reincarnated as an animal which one would you choose and why?
A dog in a western country. Walks, naps, love...
Favourite city or place?
Varanasi in India is amazing. The oldest living city on the planet, and for Hindus, it's the holiest place on earth. This is where the bodies are burnt and put into the Mother Ganges. Behind the river is an ancient city of twisting turning laneways to get lost in... Vancouver also has a special place in my heart.
Last thing you took a photo of on your phone...
Since iPhones apparently don't work so well when dropped and smashed, my current phone is the cheapest I could buy coming back through duty free and doesn't have a camera. |
